According to the data released by NBS (National Bureau of Statistics), in January-February of this year, Chinese overall crude steel output reached 121.6 million tons, surging by 2.2% from prior year. Meanwhile, in February alone, the domestic crude steel output came to 55.883 million tons, rising by 3.3% as compared to the same period of last year.

As for the market prospect, experts said that the domestic steel price will continue ramping up gradually due to recuperating steel demand from construction as well as the manufacture sector. However, most of thought that this round of price hike will be tinily given to the high-remained inventories.
